32 | Information provided by the Reporting Party (RP) indicates that they have seen children with diapers hanging low as if they haven’t been changed in a long time.
Per Director, the KinderCare App is used to communicate to parents about their children through out the day. The communication to parents includes feeding, diaper changes, incidents, events, and supply requests. Diapers are changed every 2 hours or sooner if needed.
When interviewing the staff, there is diaper changing schedule, diapers are changed every 2 hours or as needed, children are checked upon arrival if a diaper change is needed, and at 08:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 02:00 PM, and 04:00 PM and up to the time children leave the facility.
When interviewing parents, the diaper needs of their children are met by the facility, they are notified each time a diaper is changed through the KinderCare App.
There were no children interviews due to their ages.
Based on LPA investigation, documents obtained, and statements obtained, it has been determined that the complaint allegations that staff do not meet the daycare children's diapering needs, is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
Exit interview was conducted with Thania Garcia, Director, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.
