13 | On December 31, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes conducted a follow-up tele inspection to the facility. LPA met with Licensee Lalanie Herath. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations.
During the course of investigating the allegations regarding teacher-child ratios, supervision and personal rights, LPA conducted interviews with children, staff, and parents. In addition, LPA reviewed the facility records. The interviews completed revealed conflicting information regarding if staff 2 (S2) provided supervision to 18 childcare children, and if staff 1 (S1) sent to the childcare children to the playground without staff supervision. Furthermore, the investigation revealed conflicting information regarding if S1 yelled at the children in care. Therefore, the allegations are deemed Unsubstantiated, at this time. A finding of unsubstantiated means that the allegations may have happened or is valid, but there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Lalanie Herath
