32 | The restroom area was inspected and there are sufficient toilets and sinks to accommodate the facility's capacity. Toilets flush properly, toilet and sinks are reachable by the children in care. The restroom has adequate toilet paper and paper towels/wipes available. Restroom appear clean. There is adequate lighting/ventilation in the restroom area.
Children's files were complete with all required CCLD forms. Director and teachers are currently certified in pediatric first aid and CPR which expires on 8/2017.
The facility does not provide Incidental Medical Services (IMS) at this time. Incidental Medical Services Include: Blood-Glucose Monitoring for Diabetic Children, Administering Inhaled Medication, Administering EpiPen Jr. and EpiPen or other Epinephrine Auto-Injectors, Glucagon Administration, Gastrostomy Tube Care (G-tube care), Insulin Injections Administration, Anti-Seizure Administration, and Carrying out medical orders when the child’s physician has determined that a layperson can be trained and safely carry out the orders.
The facility was informed of the following during today's inspection:
All adults 18 years of age and older providing Care & Supervision and/or have continuous presence in the facility shall adhere to a criminal background clearance with the Department of Justice, FBI and Child Abuse Index Check. A civil penalty of $100 per day will be cited if any adults 18 years of age older does not meet these requirements
Assembly Bill 1207: California Child Care Workers; Mandated Training Requirement.
