On 8/24/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Loyce Phillips conducted an unannounced visit to deliver the findings of the above complaint allegations. A tour was conducted, LPA observed 7 children in care with 2 staff.

The investigation was conducted by IB Investigator, Jose Santana. Based on the information obtained and interviews conducted, Easton Acuna was arrested on May 23, 2023 for allegedly committing a crime when he was a minor. Easton moved out of the licencee's home in the beginning of 2023 and resides with his Father. Licensee stated Easton visits the home after hours and weekends when children are not present. Therefore, the allegations of Individual in the home poses a risk to children in care and uncleared adult residing in the home are deemed Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur. 9099-C.
