32 | Outdoor area was inspected for safety. It was observed there is sufficient cushioning material, age appropriate toys and in good repair. Play area appears free of hazardous items and inaccessibility to bodies of water. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
LPA reviewed children's records and were observed complete with CCLD forns. The facility roster was up to date and at least one staff is currently certified with Pediatric CPR/First Aid that expires on 8/16/21.
The facility provides Incidental Medical Services (IMS) at this time. LPA reviewed medication list and allergy plans for children and it was observed that each medicine is appropriately stored and labeled.

Incidental Medical Services Include: Blood-Glucose Monitoring for Diabetic Children, Administering Inhaled Medication, Administering EpiPen Jr. and EpiPen or other Epinephrine Auto-Injectors, Glucagon Administration, Gastrostomy Tube Care (G-tube care), Insulin Injections Administration, Anti-Seizure Administration, and Carrying out medical orders when the child’s physician has determined that a layperson can be trained and safely carry out the orders.

Licensee was made aware of The Child Care Advocate Program (CCAP) that is administered from within the Community Care Licensing Division. CCAP participates in many community activities and special projects in order to disseminate information on the State’s licensing role, provide information to the public and parents on child care licensing, and provide many other helpful resources to the licensees and the public. The licensee was informed how to obtain quarterly reports, forms, and regulations for Child Care online at www.ccld.ca.gov. Licensee was also encouraged to read the Child Care quarterly updates every season as the come out to stay informed of any changes or updates to the regulations. Licensee encourage to inform staff of viewing child care videos that explain licensing topics relevant to families and child care providers at: https://ccld.childcarevideos.org
The facility appears to be operating within substantial compliance. A copy of this report and a Notice of Site Visit was provided to the Director and an exit interview conducted. |
