25 | On 1/26/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted an unannounced annual random inspection. The LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by Licensee who guided the LPA on a tour of the home. Upon entry to the facility LPA observe 6 children in care and two staff (fingerprint cleared) providing care and supervision.
This is a one-story single-family home. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, three restrooms, garage converted to a room with City permit approved, pool (Title 22 regulation) and side yard. Main care is provided in the converted room(permit) referred to as the Child Care Play area. Licensee provides children with cots and playpen(infant) for napping. The off-limits areas are the three bedrooms, two restrooms, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and pool. Licensee participates in the Nutrition program provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner as needed. The operational child care hours are Monday through Saturday varied up to 23 hours depending on parent’s need.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. Knives, medication cleaning supplies and chemicals are kept inaccessible to children. |
