25 | On 6/15/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Rita Collins and assistant Carol Docking. LPA observed 3 children in the home with 1 adult providing care and supervision. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Currently licensee does not have any infants enrolled in program.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. Home is a single family home, there has been no change to the physical layout to the facility. The home includes the following: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, front yard, back yard and attach garage. Assistant confirmed that the living room, dinning room and one bathroom is currently use for the day care. Bathroom that children use is located next to the dining room area. The following area are off limits 3 bedrooms, bathroom 2, kitchen and front yard. LPA observed bedroom 1, 2 and 3 and bathroom 2 doors locked and OFF LIMITS to the children in care. The kitchen area was observed to have a children’s safety gate making the area inaccessible.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are stored in the laundry room next to the kitchen area, LPA observed a children’s safety gate making all items inaccessible.
There are no fireplaces or open face heaters in the home.
There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and |
