Children’s Records were reviewed. Children's roster was not up to date during inspection. Sign-In and Sign-Out sheets were not completed during inspection.
Staff Records were reviewed. There were one staff file in the facility for LPA to review. Licensee and staff did not have proof of the AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificate on file. www.mandatedreporterca.com
Staff present did have proof against TB, measles, pertussis, and influenza.
There is at least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid present during this inspection.
Per licensee all ill children will lay on a mat in the isolation area which is located in kitchen nook area next to cubbies to wait for child to be picked up by their representative.
Criminal Record Clearance - Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
