32 | LPA did not observe any poisons present during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous item were rendered inaccessible to children. Per applicant, there are no firearms or weapons on the premises. There was no body of water observed on the premises. LPA observed the home to be free from defects or conditions which may endanger the children.
There is a fire place in the living room, which is used for toy storage. The second fireplace, located in the backyard, was not rendered inaccessible.
There was a fully stocked first aid kit, kept in bedroom #1. There is a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen, which was tested and is operable. Smoke detectors are located in the dining room, bedroom #1and hall way' all were tested and are operable. There is a fire extinguisher, size 3A40BC, mounted in the kitchen and was last serviced on 10/17/19; it needs to be serviced. Electrical outlets were observed to be inaccessible to children in care with the use of plug covers. The home was observed to be clean and orderly with heating and ventilation. LPA observed safe toys, play equipment, and materials. The outdoor area was fenced and free from hazards. Licensee ensures that children in care are always supervised.
As evidenced by record review, Licensee and her two assistants do not have proof of Mandated reporter or current First aid/CPR training, as the card shown was expired.

On this date, 7/10/24, the California Attorney General - Megan's Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.
