On 10/05/2020 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deborah Lowe conducted a tele visit inspection via Zoom with Sonia Gmar - Campus Director. The purpose of the visit was to assess the areas that will be used as part of the temporary waiver for child care for Lycee International De Los Angeles, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sonia Gmar guided LPA Lowe on a tour of the child areas, preschool, pre-k, K classroom, 1st grade class, and the outdoor play areas. There are no changes to age group or capacity. The additional two classrooms used will be to assist in providing smaller groups of 10 per room.

Ms. Gmar guided LPA Lowe through the check-in areas each classroom/pod has their own drop off and pick up location separate from each group. LPA Lowe also observed each group has their own small outdoor space. There is one large playground, Ms. Gmar states the large playground has a schedule for rotating days for each group. Ms. Gmar states the children all bring their own lunch from home.

The two additional classrooms to be used the K class and 1st grade class were both observed to have enough equipment and supplies for 10 children per room. Each class has their own bathrooms with two toilets and two sinks. The 1st grade class bathroom also has a urinal.
