25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an unannounced annual required inspection at the above facility on 07/02/2024 at 2:10 PM. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Valentyn Voytytska License, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Entrance Checklist – Family Child Care Homes LIC 126 was provided to the Licensee’s to help facilitate the inspection. Also present was Licensee’s spouse. There were (two) 2 day care children present during today’s inspection. Per Licensee, there are currently (three) 3 children enrolled. Facility capacity is in compliance for a large Family Child Care Home. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
LPA toured the home inside and outside. This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, kitchenette, living room, front yard/carport and backyard (fenced).
Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: Master bedroom, bedroom #2, bathroom #1, #2 (locked), kitchen, living room, dinning room, and backyard. There is a pool in the back yard enclosed by property walls. There are two locked gates that is needed to gain access to the backyard. There is a 5-foot fence that does not go around the entire pool. The pool gates were tested and observed to be self-closing and self-latching and opens away from the pool area
Per Licensee, areas that are accessible to children include: Bedroom #3 (play room) and bedroom #4, bathroom #2, kitchenette and frontyard. The bathroom that children use is located next to the kitchenette and was observed to be clean and free of hazards.
Food is provided by Licensee. Licensee was reminded if children bring food from home, it must be labeled with the child’s name and properly stored or refrigerated.
