25 | On 5/31/2022 at 8:30am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Denise Miranda conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Doris Madriaga. Also present was 2 Licensee’s Assistants (daughters), and 1 child (preschool age). The licensee offers 24 hours daycare, 7 days a week. LPA discussed supervision of children who sleep in the facility. This inspection was conducted in Spanish.
Licensee provided an updated LIC279 Application form, and LIC279B Current children were living in the house.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. Current facility sketch reviewed.
Per Sketch the licensee's home is a single story 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with living/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, play room and detached garage/storage room.
The following areas are designated as follows and Licensee confirmed the: Living room, dining room, playroom, bathroom#2 and back yard.
The off-limit : **Bedrooms #1, #2 and #3, bathroom#1 and detached garage, laundry room and swmming pool area.
There is a Swimming pool in the backyard that is fenced per regulation. The pool gate is self-latching, self-closing and opens away from the swimming pool. No windows or doors have direct access to the pool area.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
LPA observed a fireplace barricade with screen. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety
