25 | On 12/18/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher conducted a 3 year required Inspection. LPA provided Licensee with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Erika Williams, Licensee. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property with the Licensee. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were not any children present at the time of the inspection. Licensee stated she does not have any children enrolled in the daycare. The operating hours are Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm.
LPA observed the home to have a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the Bonus room(Daycare Room), 1 bathroom, and office(infant room) as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. The bonus room is used for daily activities, eating and napping. The infant room is used for napping and activities for the younger children. The bathroom is located inside of the daycare room. The children use cots and play pens for napping. The isolation area is the office(infant room). The parents enter through a door located on the left side of the home.
Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. Licensee reports she has 1 dog in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. Cleaning supplies are stored in bathroom 2.
LPA observed electrical outlets with protective covers.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home which were tested during inspection. The home is equipped with 1 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguisher and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. The home has central air and heat. The fireplace in the living room is properly screened. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
