On 07/25/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Martinez arrived at Sound of Music Preschool located at 1256 S. Van Ness, Los Angeles, CA 90019, for the purpose of delivering the finding for the above-mentioned allegations. LPA met with Licensee Lisa Garcia and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA observed 9 children in care. On 04/28/2022, the Department received a complaint regarding a possible personal rights violation. On 05/03/2022, LPA conducted a visit at the facility and conducted interviews with Licensee and obtained the following documents: Child Care Facility Roster. On 07/25/2022, LPA Martinez conducted an interview with day care parents. Based on evidence and information received during the investigation which included interviews, records and observations, the allegations of personal rights have been found to be unsubstantiated. Unsubstantiated meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report, appeal rights, and Notice of Site Visit were provided.
