25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marina Pilossian conducted an unannounced Annual Random visit. LPA Pilossian met with licensee Ms. Mariam Danielyan. LPA Pilossian and licensee toured the facility inside and outside on 5/16/19 at 7:30am. LPA observed licensee Ms. Mariam Danielyan, and her adult daughter who is also licensee's assistant with 6 day care children including 2 of licensee's grandchildren. Licensee is Armenian speaking. LPA conducted the inspection in Armenian.
This is one story single family home. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. Per LIS the facility annual fees are current.
The home was found to be clean and orderly with proper ventilation for safety and comfort. The kitchen and bathroom was inspected for inaccessibility of chemicals/toxins and other potential hazards to children in care. Cabinets and drawers were inspected for inaccessibility of toxins/chemicals, knives and other sharp objects which may be harmful to children in care. LPA observed safety gate barricading the entrance to the kitchen. The Fire Extinguisher (2A-10-BC) was in the kitchen on the counter top. There is a dual working smoke detector, and carbon monoxide located in the family room.
LPA observed toys and furniture that were age appropriate and in good repair.
The backyard was off limit. The front yard is being used for day care children. There is no pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
