25 | A Case Management inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Keyona Scott, due to an alternate inspection conducted on 08/16/2022. LPA met with Licensee, Fidencia Jimenez, on 08/16/2022 at 11:50 AM. At 1154 AM, LPA observed nine children in care, which includes one infant. Licensee, Fidencia Jimenez, was the only Adult present in the home at the time of LPA's arrival. Licensee Christopher Leon arrived at the home at 11:58 AM and Adult 1 arrived at 12:04 PM. LPA was informed that Adult 1 stepped out to make a quick errand run to the store. Due to Licensee, Fidencia Jimenez, having more than eight children in care with no Assistant present, causes an immediate risk to the health, safety and/or personal rights to the children in care.
All Adults present during today's inspection have a criminal record clearance or exemption and are associated to the facility.
The facility was not operating in substantial compliance during today's inspection on 08/16/2022. The facility was cited for Title 22 deficiency during this inspection. Please see LIC 809-D of this report for further details.
The following was thoroughly discussed with Licensee:
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.PAGE 1 |
