25 | On 5/22/2019 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Chandler made an unannounced visit to the Learning Garden infant center for the purpose of conducting an Annual Random inspection. The facility was inspected indoors and out doors for Health and Safety compliance per Title 22.
The following were observed and reviewed during this visit:
Care and supervision was observed
Capacity and ratio standard were met
The infant yard is completely fenced in, with resilient cushioning in good repair ;.age appropriate toys and equipment were observed
The facility does not have a toddler option on the premises.
LPA observed toxins accessible to children, however there was no risk present as children were infants and not able to access the detergents and cleaning compounds. Items were removed right away.
The storage containers for solid waste have tight fitting lids.
The facility has age appropriate furniture and equipment.
There are no baby walkers in the facility.
The facility has a carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.Fully charged fire extinguishers
Infant changing tables are placed within arm's reach of a sink.
Fingerprint clearance and association of staff.
At least one staff is qualified in CPR/First aid training
Children's records were not reviewed.
Staff records were reviewed.
Bottles, dishes, and containers of food brought by the infant's authorized representative are were observed labeled with the infant's names and current dates.
Parents/guardians used their original signatures when signing children in and out of the center
Crips and mats were observed for sleeping |
