25 | On January 24, 2020 at 10:50 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips met with Licensee, Deborah Aguilar, who guided analyst on a tour of the home for a Required 1 Year Annual Inspection. Present during inspection were Licensee, licensee's assistance and 8 children. Days/hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This is a single story 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms home with a living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, den, family room and attached garage.
Children utilize the living room, the den which is designated the childcare room and bathroom #1 located in the hall to the left at the main entrance. Off limits areas of the home includes bedroom #1, bedroom #2, bedroom #3, bathroom #2, bathroom #3, family room, kitchen, laundry room, garage and backyard. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation. Poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medicines and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children were inaccessible. Licensee stated the backyard has been off limits for a year to child care children due to parents request. Licensee completed a declaration LIC 855.
Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA did not observe any in the home. There are age appropriate toys. Age appropriate napping equipment (mats and cots). The required Fire Extinguisher (2A10BC), Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector are in operable condition. The home has two fireplaces which is covered with a glass screen and central AC and heat. CPR/First Aid expires 02/2/21. Mandated Reporter training completed on 2/9/19. Licensee has required immunization. The First Aid kit was observed and is complete.
There are no pools or spas on the premises. However there is a fountain in the front yard which is drained and empty. Also, there is a 10 gallon fish tank in the family room which is off limits to children.
