25 | On 09/17/2021, at 8:35 AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Carol Heath made an announced inspection with Licensee, Deborah Aguilar for the purpose of conducting a Capacity increase Pre-Licensing Inspection prior to licensure for a Large Family Child Care Home, and to ensure the facility meets basic licensing requirements set forth by Title 22, Health and Safety and statutory requirements. Currently, there are 3 adults (Licensee and her husband, daughter 18 years) and 17 years old son living in the house. The hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The Home is set up as follows:
This is a single-story 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms home with a living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, den, family room, and attached garage.
The off-limit areas include bedroom #1, bedroom #2, bedroom #3, bathroom #2, bathroom #3, family room, kitchen, laundry room, garage, and backyard. The garage is made inaccessible as it has two locks, although the garage door locks from the outside. The laundry room is made inaccessible to children as the licensee has placed a child proof doorknob on the door.
· Living room: Children utilize the living room, the den which is designated the childcare room, and bathroom #1 located in the hall to the left at the main entrance. There are one fireplace that is covered with a glass screen located in the living room which is made inaccessible to children with a glass barrier. The home has central heating and air conditioning. All windows are free of cracks, bugs, and debris. There are no hanging window blinds cords (cordless) that are inaccessible to children. |
