On 08/03/2023, Licensing Program Analyst Adrian Risher conducted a case management visit for increased monitoring. LPA met with E.K. Lee, Administrator and Kye Lee, Director. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. LPA observed 13 children with 2 staff.

Facility is operating within proper ratios. LPA observed staff properly supervising children in care while playing outside. LPA Risher advised staff to review files regularly to make sure that they stay current.

LPA Risher reminded Director and Administrator to confirm that new staff have received a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to their start date at the facility.

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

Facility will continue to be under increased monitoring on a quarterly basis. LPA confirmed the increased monitoring is due to end November 2023.
