*All Licensing reports are available for review on-line and public information. Summary: Assembly Bill 2621 added Section 1596.819 to the Health and Safety Code, to require the Department to post certain licensing information for CCCs on its public internet website.
§1596.7995 (a) (1) Commencing September 1, 2016, a person shall not be employed or volunteer at a day care center if he or she has not been immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. Each employee and volunteer shall receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year.
Effective July 1, 2019 new immunization records and requirements were discussed with facility.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. According to center a meeting is held with the child's family and a individual plan is made accordingly for each child with an IMS plan. Center staff demonstrated CCL's approval sheet for children with an IMS plan.
On or before March 30, 2018, a person who, on January 1, 2018, is a licensed child care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training provided pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3) of subdivision (a), and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years following the date on which he or she completed the initial mandated reporter training.
The facility was in compliance per Title 22 and Title V regulations, no deficiencies will be cited today 11/15/19. Exit Interview conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights, notice of site visit was provided to Rachel Chalmers, facility Education Program Manager.
