On 11/9/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laureano conducted a complaint inspection to deliver the findings regarding the above-mentioned allegation. LPA met with Assistant Director, Bernie De Silva and explained the purpose of the inspection. There were 34 children in care and 7 staff present with Assistant Director.

On 8/25/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano arrived at Little Scholars Montessori for the purpose of investigating the above-mentioned allegation. Upon arrival, LPA met with Elsy Garcia Site Director and Assistant Director Bernie De Silva to discuss the purpose of the visit. During this inspection, LPA conducted interviews with director, facility staff, children conducted a tour of the facility. LPA observed 27 children sitting in their designated area eating breakfast with 6 staff members.
LPA reviewed the children’s roster, parent handbook and sign in and sign out sheets.

On 9/19/2022, LPA concluded interviews. No information was disclosed that children’s personal rights were violated.
