25 | On 9/15/2022 Program Analyst (LPA), Judy Laureano conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Jacqueline Dona Sanchez. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
Days and hours of operation are 7:00 am to 5:30p.m.., Monday through Friday. Currently applicant cares for children ages 4 months old to 12 years old. Licensee confirmed that she does not provide overnight care or weekend care.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken; 4 children were present with licensee providing care and supervision. The home is a single family home with 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen. LPA observed a detached garage that is OFF LIMITS. The home has a front yard and back yard that are enclosed. Licensee confirmed the following areas are used for day care: living room, Bedroom 1 and bathroom close to the laundry room is used for the day care. The backyard is enclosed and designated as daycare space.
Licensee confirmed the following areas are off limits: bedroom 2, bedroom 3 and bedroom/master and bathroom 2 located in the master bedroom. LPA observed the door to be locked and OFF LIMITS to the children in care. The laundry room areas located at the end of the hallway has been designated OFF LIMITS and LPA observed a locked gate making the washer and dryer unit inaccessible to the children in care. Garage is off limits and LPA observed a locked gate that leds to the garage.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents and cleaning compounds are kept locked in the laundry room area and medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to the children in care- top kitchen shelf. |
