25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denise Miranda conducted a Case Management Visit for the purpose of add one classroom. LPA met with Director Susan Goldmann. The facility is requesting to add one classroom# 107.
The capacity of the facility still 90 children. Fire clearance for the Classroom#107 was received and approved by Los Angeles Fire Department.
During this visit no children were present. LPA reviewed facility sketch which was updated.
LPA inspected the classroom#107. LPA observed the classroom#107 was clean and there were sufficient age appropriate/in good repair furniture, toys, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts.
Children’s bathroom is located inside to the Classroom #107. There are a total of (1) toilet and (2) sinks located at the classroom#107. There is a sufficient supply of toilet paper, and paper towels in the bathrooms and soaps. One changing table was observed that has at least a 1-inch-thick padding covered. The changing table is within an arm's reach of a sink.
There were no baby walkers on the premises.
The isolation area if needed is located in the director's office.
First Aid kits observed in the facility. There are more than one fire extinguishers in the hallway, operable fire/carbon monoxide detector in each classroom. LPA inspected the heating, lighting and ventilation of the classroom#107.
Drinking water is readily available in classroom#107. LPA also observed drinking fountains in the hall way. Trash cans with lids were observed in classroom#107.
During this visit, the facility provided the department with updated Annual Corporate Minutes, board of Director
annual Meeting Amended and Restated bylaws.
Per the Title 22 regulations, on 12/5/19, the above facility was found to be operating in substantial compliance. Classroom#107 has been added and approved to facility to provide care and supervision.
An exit Interview was conducted, a copy of this Report and a Notice of Site visit was provided
to Ms. Susan Goldmann. |
