13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Justeene Tamayo and Barbara Beneroso met with director Adrienne Tolliver for the purpose of concluding the investigation concerning the above complaint allegation. LPA’s toured the facility and observed 2 children in care. LPAs later met with Director Yesica Aparicio during the tour.
The investigation consisted of interviews with staff, children, and other complaint relevant parties including the review of supportive documentation. It was alleged that on multiple occasions, child #1 and #2 would ridicule child #3 by calling her names while children were being transported to and from the facility to their elementary school.
Based on interviews conducted, there is not enough evidence or witnesses to corroborate the above allegation, therefore, the allegation is rendered Unsubstantiated at this time. A finding that the complaint is Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged allegation occurred.
