32 | Children are inspected for illnesses as they arrive including taking temperatures. Medications are kept in a safe condition, and free of hazards. A review of medication policy indicates that prescription and non-prescription medication is administered only with parent's written permission.
**Sign in and out sheets were reviewed -manually. The parent board was reviewed and has all of the required forms posted. Fire/earthquake drills current. LPA reviewed Children's records as part of this inspection, all staff files are kept at a central location (Maud Booth). LPA verified at least one staff person present has current Pediatric CPR and First Aid training (exp 6/26/23).
There is 1 bathroom between HS classes 01, and 02 (this bathroom has 3 toilets and 3 sinks), there is a second bathroom between Rooms EHS 01 and 02 (this bathroom has 3 toilets and 3 sinks however 1 toilet is not in use due to changing table in place). There are toilets and sinks that are functioning properly and are age appropriate. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary condition. LPA observed soap, toilet paper and paper towels readily available, hot water is the appropriate temperature.
Food Service: Food is brought in daily by CACFP (Food Program). There is a clean, fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave and stove. Menus are posted in each classroom and the kitchen (an allergy list is posted in each classroom and in the kitchen).
