Personal Rights - Facility staff do not allow children to nap without interruption

On 10/15/2024 at 12:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrew Alemoh met with Director Marsha for the purpose to deliver the finding of the above allegation. Upon arrival, LPA observed 33 children and 5 staff along with the Director on site. The investigation consisted of interviews with Director, staff, parents, and other complaint relevant parties. The investigation revealed the following: children are provided with the safe space in the Main Room to be able to nap and rest. Staff and parent’s statements corroborated in that children can nap and rest without any disturbances. Children are rested upon pick up from parents and authorized representatives.

Director and staff statements corroborated in that the main room is used for staff meetings during naptime for all the teachers/staff to discuss upcoming events or concerns as well as supervise all napping children in a smaller ratio. Statements from other relevant parties revealed that children do not have any concerns or issues with staff meetings being conducted during nap time.
