32 | Site Supervisor disclosed that no one from next door has been observed to be at the facility during the hours of operation and they are in close communication with the local sheriff department if needed.
Staff interviews revealed that Staff #1, #2, #3, and #6 did not prevent children from going outdoors and chose to keep children inside while custodial staff thoroughly cleaned and disinfected an area in the yard due to observing excrements.
Parents interviews revealed that there are no concerns about the facility itself and no concerns about the care that is being provided.
Child #1 disclosed that staff told them they couldn’t go outside due to “poop” on the yard. Child #4 disclosed that they go out to play all the time but could not recall one time they were not allowed to go outside. Child #2 and #3 made no disclosures about not being allowed to go outside.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Pamela Torres, Site Supervisor, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.
