32 | Facility representative was reminded, Prior to working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility, all individuals subject to a criminal record review have received a criminal record clearance, transfer or exemption. Upon notification from the Department, the licensee will comply and act immediately to terminate the employment of, remove from the facility or bar from entering the facility for any person it is deemed necessary while the Department considers granting or denying an exemption. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained. At least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid is present when children are at the facility. Director's Mandated Reporter expires July 2024, as well as CPR expires March 2024.

All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Facility maintains a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 12 children in care. LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files and observed files were complete LPA reviewed a sample of staff files and observed files were complete. Menus are posted at least one week in advance where an authorized representative can view them.
Per Rosemary children with Incidental Medical Services are taken to the elementary school nurse (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Exit interview conducted, the report was reviewed. A copy of this report, and the center Appeal Rights was provided. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days. |
