On 9/25/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Isabel Ortega conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA Ortega met with Site Supervisor Janet Granadeno and tour the facility according to the facility sketch. The purpose of today's inspection is to conduct a case management inspection regarding lead exceedance referred to as an Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of over 5.5 parts per billion (ppb) in the water at previous facility.

Facility's report for lead sampled on February 2022 results of lead in water sample test results are based from three drinking fountains with results were exceeding the ALE water of 5.5 ppb. These sampled testing results no longer apply, facility is located at a different licensed child care location area on Wiley Elementary School premises.

Facility has relocated to a new Module building constructed after January 1, 2010. (PIN21-21CCP) Filtered non-contaminated water is readily available for children during hours of operation. A water dispenser was observed in each classroom with disposable cups. During outdoor play LPA observed red igloos and disposable cups readily available for children. The facility demonstrated the Construction Plan Permits stamped approval dated February 3, 2022.

An exit interview was provided, facility was provided with a copy of this report, appeal rights and notice of site visit (NOA). This report shall be made available to the public upon request. The Notice of Site Visit (NOA) is required to be posted for 30 days.
