On 11/17/2021 at 1:40 pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deborah Lowe, conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Inspection for the preschool license. LPA was greeted by S#2 at door and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. Assistant Director Briana Zepeda arrived at 2:00 pm and met with LPA Lowe for remainder of visit.

The purpose of this visit is to verify plan of corrections from Annual Inspection visit conducted on 11/12/2021 have been completed and maintained.

LPA Lowe verified census and verified ratio and direct supervision of children by staff during nap time was observed as corrected. All children were observed on napping cots with two fully qualified teachers supervising.

LPA Lowe observed the closet with the hot water heater with a box in front of the hot water heater. Staff removed box in presence of LPA. Storage closet in hallway was then observed with potential hazard removed. LPA Lowe advised storage closet with hot water heater shall remain clear of any hazards.

LPA Lowe toured the facility and observed cleaning solutions to be accessible to children, during visit cleaning solutions were removed and made inaccessible to children. LPA Lowe advised the cleaning solutions shall be made inaccessible to children at all times.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Assistant Director, Briana Zepeda.
