An informal conference was held with the licensee, Carolyn Sanford. The following were also present in the meeting: Regional Manager, Carla Caldwell, Licensing Program Manager Sharalyn Jenkins-Sweeten and Licensing Program Analyst, Veronica Wheatley.

Carla Caldwell, Regional Manager, discussed the Department's concern associated with the facility's history. The purpose of the conference was to inform Carolyn Sanford, licensee, that the Department has serious concerns regarding Type A deficiencies cited for Limitations on Capacity & Ambulatory.

Limitations on Capacity & Ambulatory: On April 5, 2019, two infants (under age 18 months) were observed on the premises in the toddler room. On February 26, 2019, two(under 18 months) were observed in the toddler room. On December 20, 2017, facility observed over capacity with 11 children in the preschool classroom. On December 15, 2017, facility observed over capacity with 13 children in the preschool. On August 26, 2016, facility observed two school aged children on the premises in the preschool classroom.

The licensee has agreed to the following:

1. To withdraw application for increase in capacity today.
2. Surrender Family Child Care Home License by Monday, July 29, 2019
3. Attend Operations & Record Keeping Orientation on September 11, 2019 at 1PM
4. Increased Monitoring Inspections every quarter (3 months) for one year.
5. Cease enrolling children under age 18 months of age.
6. Hire or obtain assistance from a qualified consultant to help maintain compliance.
7. Complete the Child Care Center Videos with your staff
8. Enroll in Child Development courses to become a qualified director.
