13 | On 10/06/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Beneroso met with co-director Aaron Marcelline for the purpose of concluding the investigation concerning the above complaint allegation. LPA toured the facility and observed 10 children in care and two staff members.
The investigation consisted of interviews with staff, children, and other complaint relevant parties including the review of supportive documentation. It was alleged that on multiple occasions, child #1 would make threats to child #2. Information gathered during investigation revealed Staff 1 was informed of the situation by child #2 shortly after it occurred. Staff 1 took the appropriate disciplinary action towards child #1 and took the proper preventative actions for this not to occur in the future. Parents of both, child #1 and child #2 were informed of the situation the same day it occurred.
Based on interviews conducted, there is not enough evidence or witnesses to corroborate the above allegation, therefore, the allegation is rendered UNSUSBSTANTIATED at this time. A finding that the complaint is Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged allegation occurred.
Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to Co- Director, Aaron Marcelline.
A notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
