On 9/6/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano conducted a complaint inspection to deliver the findings regarding the above-mentioned allegations. LPA met with Infant Teacher. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. There were 3 children in care and 1 staff present.
On 6/21/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano arrived at FutureKids Learning Academy for the purpose of investigating the above-mentioned allegations. Upon arrival, LPA met with Sheela Deraniyagala, Site Director and discussed the purpose of the visit. During this inspection, LPA toured the facility. LPA observed 3 infants present at the infant program and 1 teacher. LPA reviewed the following documents: children’s roster, personnel roster, parent handbook, daily reports and incidents and food log. Director agreed to email documents that were not provided at the time of the visit.
On 6/21/2022 LPA Laureano began investigative interviews with Parents, staff and director. On 8/9/2022 LPA concluded interviews will all relevant parties. No information was disclosed that responsibility for providing care and supervision were not met, personal rights of children were not being met and that infant care food service was not being met.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or disapprove the allegation, therefore the allegation is found to be unsubstantiated.
