Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tatiana Bickham and Christina Nunez conducted an unannounced site visit on 02/12/2026 at 1:40 PM to this facility to deliver findings on the above-mentioned allegations. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Executive Director Michelle Raz and explained the purpose of the visit. There were 43 children being supervised by 6 staff at the time of visit.

During the course of the investigation, interviews were conducted with Director, parents, staff, and children. LPA also conducted observations and collected incident reports for incidents that occurred in the month of December.

Per Reporting Party, staff handled a day care child roughly, causing injury to the day care child.

During an interview, the Director denied all allegations. The Director stated that staff have not handled

any children inappropriately. Staff are not allowed to place their hands on children unless the children pose a danger to themselves. The Director also stated that any injuries occurring at the facility are reported to parents via Brightwheel or they are provided with a copy of the incident report at pickup.

Staff interviewed stated they have not observed any staff mistreating children. Staff reported that they only lead children by their hands and do not use forceful contact with any of the children.

Children interviewed stated they enjoyed coming to the center and did not express that any staff members handled them inappropriately.

Parents interviewed did not express any concerns regarding the allegations.

LPA conducted observations of the staff with the children in the classroom and on the yard, LPA did not observe any mistreatment of children by the staff.

LPA attempted to review camera footage per Executive Director Michelle Raz, the DVR system is not functioning, and the facility only has a live feed available.

Based on the investigation conducted, there is insufficient evidence to support the above-mentioned allegations to be true. Therefore, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated.

The Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.

Exit interview was conducted with Executive Director Michelle Raz and appeal rights were provided.
