25 | On 01/25/22 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Karine Khachatryan. Also present was Staff #1 (S1). Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Licensee has requested to utilize the detached converted garage for day care. The converted garage is permitted and consists of one bedroom, one bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Prior to construction licensee had notified the CCLD in writing. All rooms were observed to be safe and free of any hazards. Licensee has submitted an updated facility sketch to note the additional rooms as a day care rooms. LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. There were 6 children present ( including one infant). All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a one story home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living/dining room, kitchen, laundry area, and detached dwelling/converted garage, front yard, back yard, and side yard (fenced). The main entry door is not used to enter the facility, parents and children use the back sliding doors to enter the facility leading to the child care room Family members residing in the home include 3 adults (licensee and her adult sons). All adults have fingerprint clearances and are associated to the facility. There is no pool, spa or other bodies of water on the premises. Off limit areas include: kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the right side of the house, the bathroom in licensee’s sons’ bedroom.
Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Bathroom in the hallway, living/ dining room, day care room, and the converted garage.
