25 | On 04/13/2021 at 9:00 A.M. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Silva Garibyan conducted an announced Case Management tele-inspection via FaceTime due to the COVID-19 pandemic shelter-in-place orders in the state of California. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 Regulations governing California Family Child Care homes are met by the Licensee. LPA Garibyan met with Licensees, Tara Rosa and Kennedy Bridges, who guided the analyst on a tour of the home. There were four children ( including one infant)) present during the inspection. The licensee has an approved fire clearance ( Fire Clearance granted on 04/06/21 by LA County Fire Department, received by department on 04/06/2021). Per the licensees there has been no noted changes to the home or occupants since their last visit (Annual Random visit conducted on 03/08/18.). All areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected. Licensees' home a single story dwelling, with (3) bathrooms, (4) bedrooms, living room, den, kitchen, laundry room . The back yard is fully enclosed, the front yard is not. Per the licensee, there are no firearms or weapons in the home. The "on limit" areas include the kitchen, backyard, bathroom and bedroom(adjacent to main entrance of the home), living room, and dining room. All other rooms in the home have been identified as "off limits". LPA observed child safety latches throughout the household. LPA also observed all sharp objects and chemicals which could cause a danger to children in care made inaccessible. LPA observed child appropriate toys and other material throughout the home. LPA observed a fireplace in the living room which was observed to be inaccessible to children in care. Family members residing in the home include 3 adults (licensees and licensee's mother/grandmother). There is no pool, spa or other bodies of water on the premises. Children play in the back yard which is fenced. LPA observed the home is clean, orderly, and properly ventilated. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are in operable condition. Page 1 of 2 |
