25 | On 8/10/2022,8:20AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denise Miranda, conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection for the infant license. LPA met with Cassidy Barnes, Teacher and tour the facility indoors and outdoors. At 9:10am LPA met Karen Beninati, Director and inform the purpose of the visit.
Per Director Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8AM – 5:00 PM. Upon entering, LPA observed the infant classroom to the left side of the building. LPA observed 10 infants with 3 teachers providing supervision to the infants in care. Facility checklist (LIC 125) provided upon arrival to Casisidy Barnes, Teacher.
The department has granted a shared outdoor activity space; waiver and license posted in a pertinent area. LPA observed the waiver been posted by the license certificate.
Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Facility maintains a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 4 infant in care.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. No poisons were observed during the inspection.
Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Infant care, has one toilet and hand washing sink are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. The kitchen, and storage areas are clean, free of litter/rubbish and free of rodents/vermin.
