25 | On 09/21/2021 2:05PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Hilda Owusu. Also present was Staff #1 (S1).Days and hours of operation are 05:00AM to 11:30PM, Sunday -Saturday.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. Current facility sketch reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that the kitchen, bathroom#1 and #2, family room, dining room are used for providing care and are accessible to children. The home is two story, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, with one study and family downstairs and attached garage. The home also has an attached enclosed patio. All of the bedrooms are off limits and will remain inaccessible to the children. During this inspection, LPA observed that licensee added a room, (playroom and one bathroom), located by the kitchen area. A subsequent visit will be conduct. Per Licensee, the playroom, is off-limit area. LPA advised Licensee to submit via mail an update sketch floor plan and yard to El Segundo Regional Office. During this All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of knob door. Swimming pool is fenced per regulation. The pool gate is self-latching, self-closing and opens away from the swimming pool. No windows or doors have direct access to the pool area. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
