25 | On 01/25/22 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Ayelet Lavi. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.. LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. There are no children present at the time of the visit. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected Licensee's home is a single story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a living/dining room, kitchen, day care room/fully converted garage in the front, a carport constructed at the front of the home, and detached storage room in the back of the yard ( in the pool area). There is a pool in the backyard. LPA observed the pool fencing to be 5 feet high. The fence is made of white wrought iron and encloses the pool on one side. The other three sides are enclosed by the property walls. There is only 1 gate in the fence. The gate was tested and observed to be self-closing, self- latching and swings away from the pool area. All bedrooms and the second bathroom are off limits to the children in care. The children have access to the bathroom located in the day care room. Family members residing in the home include licensee, her husband, and licensee's two minor daughters.
The fireplace located in the living room and it is made inaccessible by a screen. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no stairs in this home.
