Allegation: Lack of Supervision - Staff left day care children unattended.

On 4/21/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Loyce Phillips, conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering the findings on the above allegations. LPA was greeted by Director, Emily Walton. LPA toured the facility and observed 49 children in care with 10 staff.

LPA conducted a full investigation, which included facility visits, LPA observations, interviews with staff, parents and children. The staff that were interview stated children are never left unattended and is supervised at all times. Parents that were interview disclosed they have no knowledge of children being left unattended and did not express any concerns. The children that were interview disclosed they are with theirs teachers and never left alone at school. LPA could not corroborate the allegation that staff left day care children unattended. Therefore the allegation is deemed Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur. 9099-C
