32 | The following deficiencies observed during the visit:
Staffing Ratio and Capacity - For a Small Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time, including children under age 10 who reside at the home, shall be one of the following: Four infants or Four infants; or six children, no more than three of whom may be infants; or - LPA observed 5 children were present, 4 infants and one 2 year old child
Criminal Record Clearance - All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed facility: - LPA observed Hasmik Sargsyan was helping licensee with day care children and did not have criminal record clearance. Hasmik stated that today was her first day at the facility.
Licensee applied for an increase of capacity. The approval is pending due the above violations.
LPA discussed the safe sleep for baby. Each infant shall be constantly supervised and under direct visual observation by an adult person at all times. Under no circumstances shall any infant be left unattended. In order to visually observed and supervise sleeping infants there should be no obstruction to the view of the infants, which could include transparency walls and/or half walls. LPA recommend that infants sleep safest in crib with no bumpers, pillows, blankets, or toys, and on their backs, and every sleep time counts to reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep related causes of infant death.
Facility was cited Type A deficiency, according to California Code of Regulations Title 22 See 809D report for deficiencies. A copy of this report must be copied and given to all parents and to the parents of any child enrolling within the next 12 months.
Licensee is to post notice of Site Visit for 30 Days, failure to do so will result in $100 immediate civil penalty.
