25 | On 9/27/2021 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Judy Laureano and Deborah Lowe arrived at facility at approximately 12:14 p.m. and met with Zia Mojabi, Assistant Director and Nassima Mojabi, Licensee/Director. The purpose of a Case Management – licensee-initiated inspection at the facility is to ensure the health, safety and personal rights as requires by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. Facility is requesting a modification to current Infant Program, adding a Toddler Component without changing the total facility’s capacity of 36.
The facility originally had an open floor plan but has changed to operating in 5 spaces divided by half wall partitions bolted to the floor with L shape brackets. The facility is requesting to decrease the infant capacity to 30 children and adding the toddler component to serve 6 toddlers (18 months to 36 months).
On 6/28/2021, STD 850- Fire Safety Inspection was received in the ESRO. Fire Safety Inspection- STD 850 granted on 06/24/2021.
LPAs were guided on a tour of the facility, both indoors and outdoors. The facility operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
LPAs observed all areas being used for child care. In Room #3 LPAs observed 2 changing tables along the wall near the napping area. Diapers, wipes and or diaper rash ointment were observed to be stored in cubbies clearly labeled for children in program. Director Nassima confirmed that parents bring diapers, wipes and diaper rash ointment if needed. The bathroom that children use is across the diapering area.
