On 09/24/2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Martinez conducted an unannounced visit at Studio City Child Care Infant Center for the purpose of delivering the findings for the above-mentioned allegation. LPA met Assistant Center Director Zia Mojabi. LPA followed COVID-19 Safety Guidelines during this investigation. LPA wore a face covering, sanitized hands, and maintained social distance whenever possible. LPA observed 29 children and 9 staff. On 07/22/2021, LPA interviewed Assistant Director Zia Mojabi. LPA obtained the child care facility roster and menu for the week of 06/28/21-07/19/21. Zia Mojabi stated that facility provides breakfast, lunch, and pm snacks to children. Meals are prepared at the facility and children can bring their own meals from home. Interviews with parents disclosed that facility is a nut free facility, children get 1-2 servings of fruits and veggies, and parents can bring supplementary snacks/meals. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are found to be unsubstantiated. It has been determined that the facility is not in violation of Title 22 Regulations. No deficiencies will be issued. Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided. Appeal rights were reviewed and provided.
