The facility will install a child safety gate to prevent the children from entering the kitchen area.

The outdoor play area was inspected. There is also a fence separating the playground from the parking lot. There is a large space with two large play apparatus that include spiral slides. There is swing equipment with the swing chairs removed, and a wooden playhouse type of a structure. LPA reminded the applicant to ensure that staff inspects all outdoor play apparatus daily for insects. Also to ensure the wooden playhouse wood is smooth to prevent the possibility of splinters. LPA also observed several riding toys. There are two storage sheds on the playground that are locked, preventing access by child care children.

The outdoor space is completely fenced in and there were no bodies of water observed.

LPA advised the applicant that the Department has been made aware of the presence of mold in the building. The applicant obtained a copy of the Expanded Fungal Assessment Report from the property owner. LPA will staff the report with management prior to licensure of the facility by July 26, 2109.

Based on the inspection the facility measurements are:
Indoor Space: 7067.53 divided by 35 equal 201.9.
Outdoor Space 9687738 divided by 75 equals 129.16

LPA provided the applicant with the LIC311A to ensure the facility is obtaining the required documents for the children, staff and office records.
