On 02/14/2020 at 1:25 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeanette Estrada, Antonio Almanza and Dalicia Adkins conducted a follow up Pre-Licensing visit at Future Stars Academy located at 4946 West 20th Street Los Angeles, CA 90016, for the purpose of remeasuring the Infant Room. The applicant, Ocean-Sky, A California Corporation, is applying for an infant program with a requested capacity of 8 infants. LPAs met with Administrators/ Owners, Irene Olshansky and Marina Olshansky, who guided LPAs on a tour of the indoor space.

On the Pre-Licensing visit dated 01/28/20, the indoor space was measured for the Infant program and based on the measurement there was not enough space inside for the capacity being requested. The total indoor space measured 253.78/35 ft equalling a capacity of 7 (based on layout of 3 cribs ).

The Applicants have made adjustments to the indoor space in order to be able to have a capacity of 8 infants.

Today, 2/14/2020 the indoor space measured 292.53 sq. ft. Based on this measurement the facility can accommodate a capacity of 8 infants.

An exit interview was conducted and copy of the report was reviewed and furnished to the applicant. Final license determination will be made upon review by Licensing Program Manager.
