On 6/7/2022 at 11:50am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dalicia Adkins conducted a subsequent complaint visit regarding the allegation listed above. LPA met with Licensee, Sophia Tourneh, LPA explained the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the home. LPA was guided on a tour of the home there were 11 children, one child and licensee present. Another child care assistance arrived after LPA arrival.

Today's visit 6/7/2022 LPA Adkins interviewed staff, viewed ring home video recording conducted observations and attempted to interview day care children.

On 3/21/2022, LPA Adkins conducted the initial 10-day complaint visit regarding the allegation listed above. During the 10- day visit LPA Adkins observed the home, interviewed child care assistant, parent and collected the following supportive documents: Children’s Roster, Menu and licensee work history records.

During interviews parents reported that they are satisfied with the level of care their children are receiving.

LPA requested to view ring recording and licensee provided LPA with video recording. LPA viewed ring video recording, LPA did not observe licensee, or any staff hit any of the day care children.

Based on observations, interviews and record reviews, it was determined that the above allegation to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation of Personal Rights - Licensee hit child care children is found to be unsubstantiated.
