On 05/15/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Laticia Thompson met with , Director. Nicole Royston. The purpose of the visit was an announced Prelicensing Inspection at the facility to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. There were 160 children present during this inspection. This is an application for an increase in capacity for a total capacity of 182 children; 16 Toddlers ages 18 months - 36 months, 166 Preschoolers. ages 2 years into entry of 1^st grade. The child care center will operate Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The fire clearance was approved on 11/29/2023. Today’s visit is for the purpose of obtaining measurements of the proposed indoor and outdoor space. The facility has a total of 11 classrooms. Classroom #1 will be dedicated to the Toddler Program. LPA toured and measured the on-limits areas

Toddler Indoor measurements are
The Indoor measurements contain a total of 492.39 which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 16 Toddlers. Based on today’s measurement the facility capacity limit for indoor space is 14 Toddlers.

Toddler Outdoor Play measurements are:

The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 358.50, which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 16 Toddlers. Based on today’s measurement the facility capacity limit for outdoor space is a total of 4 toddlers.

Preschool Classroom measurements are:
The Indoor measurements contain a total of 5,743.84 which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 166 children. Based on today's measurements the facility capacity limit for indoor space is a total of 164 children.

Preschool Outdoor Play measurements are:
The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 12,999.14 which will accommodate Applicant’s request for 166 Preschoolers.

A second visit will be conducted for indoor and outdoor inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Nicole Royston Director. LPA provided the director with appeal rights, a notice of site visit (LIC 9213 ) and a copy of this report.
