On 9/23/2021 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced visit for the purpose of increasing the infant centers capacity from 18 to 20 infants. LPA met with director Isis Bedir and Priest Angelos Guirges who guided provided a tour of the infant center. The center plans to use 3 of the of the 7 rooms for infant indoors activities and 1 for napping, the other 3 rooms shall be used for the preschool license #197415439.

The rooms dedicated for infant use will be as follows:



Room 1-2 (located across from entry) measures 304.5 for a total of 8 infants
Room 3 (next door to room 1-2) measures 328.44 for a total of 9 infants
Room 8 ( across from room 1-2/smaller room) measures 137.56 for a total of 3 infants

The rooms dedicated to the preschool use will be as follows:

Room 4 (in between room 3 and napping area) measures 871.28 for a total of 10 children
Room 6 (left side of hallway across from napping room) measures 218.5 for a total of 6 children.
Room 7 ( between room 6 and 8) measures 162.61 for a total of 4 children

The other preschool classrooms were also measured to ensure that the classrooms met the current licensed capacity.

LPA observed 2 children restrooms with the following amenities:
Restroom 1 (near the kitchen to the right of staffs restroom) had: 1 toilet,1 sink and a changing table with arms reach of the sink
Restroom 2 ( near exit, to the left of staffs restroom) had: 2 toilets and 1 sink. The center has a full kitchen located at the end of the building.

The out doors areas were also inspected and measured, The center currently has two outdoor activity space waivers to share the preschool play yard (B) with the infants and to utilize a staggered schedule to accommodate the indoor capacity of the preschool.

After reviewing the outdoor activity space LPA advised the director that based on the equipment size it would be advisable to switch the assigned play yards. Play yard "A" has age appropriate equipment for toddlers and play yard "B" has age appropriate equipment for preschoolers.

Yard "A" measures 1583.01 for a total of 21 children
Yard "B" measures 1401.759 for a total of 18 children

Based on these measurements and the switching of the outdoor space, the center shall request a waiver to allow the preschoolers (197415439) to use the infant play yard and and a staggering schedule to accommodate the preschool's capacity of 63 children. The schedule shall ensure that there will be no more than 20 children in each yard, for a total of 40 children using the outdoor activity space at any time, and the two programs will not commingle at any time.

Based on todays observations and measurements the infant program shall be recommended for the requested capacity of 20 infants.

A exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to director Bedir
