25 | On 1/25/2022 at 9:15AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection with Anair Asatryan. This inspection is due to an application received for a relocation of a large family childcare license. The Licensee guided LPA on a tour of the facility and intends to operate Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
The Licensee does not carry child-care insurance. The areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with living room, kitchen, family room, laundry room and detached garage. The Licensee resides in the home with minor daughter. Licensee intends to provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and am/pm snacks to children.
Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room (main day care room), bedroom #2 (napping room), bathroom #2 and front yard concrete area. Bathroom #3 can be access from bedroom #2 and bedroom #3. There is a child safety door knob on bathroom #3 making it inaccessible to children. The off-limits areas are as follows: Kitchen, laundry room, bedrooms #1, #3, bathroom #1, #3, family room, back yard, detached garage and the right side of the home. All bedrooms have child safety door knobs, making the rooms inaccessible to children.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medication and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are inaccessible. LPA observed age appropriate safe toys inside and outside. The applicant advised; children will nap on cots. Applicant has a smoke detector and a carbon monoxide that was tested and operating. Medications were observed in the upper hallway cabinet. Cleaning products are kept in the laundry room made inaccessible to children. |
